‘Mirchi’ Siva’s close friends know how ‘talented’ he is in dance. For the RJ-turned-actor ensured that others in the unit had tough time when he was shaking legs for ‘Chennai 600028’ and ‘Saroja’.

However, his forthcoming ‘Thamizh Padam’ has brought out the ‘dancer’ inside Siva. As per the movie’s script, which is a spoof on Tamil films, he had to imitate a top hero’s Bharatanatyam performance in a particular film, which was a cult hit in the early 1980s.

Since the director of ‘Thamizh Padam’ C S Amudhan was aware of Siva’s dance knowledge, he requested a Bharatanatyam expert to coach the actor. But the dancer received the shock of his life when he asked Siva to perform a few steps.

The actor’s performance literally made the dance guru to leave the sets of the film. However, without losing the spirit, Siva somehow managed to dance and completed the scene well, sources in the unit say.
